Aquanis CEO, Neal Fine, was interviewed live by Ted Nesi on Executive Suite on July 11, 2019. The two discussed Aquanis’ mission and how it fits within the overall wind industry and the RI economy. Neal was asked about the company’s recent success in attracting R&D funding from two wings of the Department of Energy: $3.5M from the ARPA-E division and $1M from the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. They talked about why Aquanis is developing technologies that reduce the cost of wind energy and how our technologies will achieve that goal. They also discussed the state of the industry in the U.S. and role that Rhode Island is playing in advancing the offshore wind industry.

(Aquanis was renamed Arctura in October, 2020. You can learn about the name change and all of the company’s activities on our website.)
